Now that we've covered:

• whether clients can get added to HIFIS at all, and

• who can access a client file at all,

It's time for us to start talking about what information we will be collecting.

Remember back to our conversations about controlling what information gets collected. One of the principles that was covered in PIPEDA was that of limiting collection. Well, it's time for us to start talking about exactly what information we're collecting.

This week, we're going to cover personal information, which is the sort of information we might be asking our clients for on an intake form.
